RTGX helps push the AFCEA 5k over the top
Columbia, Maryland — April 24, 2010
RTGX’s President and CEO set the bar high for this years AFCEA 5k charity race and RTGX’s employees and extended family in the business community answered the challenge to the tune of 121 runners wearing the RTGX brand in support of this important cause.  RTGX teamed up with the area's top fitness guru, David Girton and his LiveNow Fitness network to make this year’s AFCEA 5K another record breaker.  To find out more about the AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter please click here.

This year’s event was special as RTGX’s sea of blue running shirts powered by LiveNow Fitness blanketed the race and its after party held, as always, at Nottingham’s Tavern in Columbia Maryland. The RTGX runners finished with the fastest team time and RTGX garnered an award for the largest team!

The race, founded 2 years ago by AFCEA and its many corporate sponsors which include RTGX, continues to be a signature community event that garners sponsorship from all facets of the Department of Defense, Intelligence and local business community to raise funds for college scholarships for local high school students.

RTGX thanks LiveNow Fitness, the RTGX Family for its contributions in helping this important charity race and the good the local AFCEA Chapter does in the community.  RTGX supports AFCEA chapters at Aberdeen Proving Grounds Maryland, Scott Air Force Base illnois and the Montgomery Alabama Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base.

We at RTGX look forward supporting next year’s AFCEA 5K!
