In support of the spirit of the Holiday Season, RTGX employees recently came together to provide Thanksgiving support to the Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services (LARS) in Maryland. RTGX and its employees donated canned food items and cash in support of the LARS and their mission. Representatives from the organization commented upon receiving the RTGX donations that is was the single largest single donation they have ever received. RTGX holds an annual catered pre Thanksgiving Feast, for its employees and as part of this event employees brought donations of canned foods. A number of employees contributed bonuses received from RTGX in lieu of or in addition to food items to LARS.
LARS, more formally known as Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services, is a faith-based ministry dedicated to assisting persons and families who are in crisis. LARS helps provide the tools, resources, and skills needed to empower those persons it serves with confidence and a sense of competence, helping them to solve problems and become self-sufficient, returning stability to their lives.
RTGX has, since inception, maintained one of its founding commitments to make a difference not only as a business but as a good corporate citizen. Throughout the years the company has supported Hurricane Katrina Victims, aided with local and nationwide sponsorship of children and families in need and has helped with tuition support for deserving children amongst numerous other charitable and socially significant contributions. |
