Large Hotel Chain Benefits Management Application
RTGX has developed and maintains an intranet application for a corporate concern with hotel properties throughout the United States. The application utilizes an MS SQL Sever database backend and interfaces with the corporate payroll system. The key to this effort for the customer was a quick solution that would bridge the gap between an eventual purchase of an enterprise solution and the need to move away from a legacy expensive outsourced software solution. Because of the nature of the information and the integration with the customer’s payroll systems and employees located throughout the U.S. an agile and Rapid Applications Development (RAD) approach was necessary.

State and Local Government Department of Education
In support of Maryland’s Department of Education, RTGX has provided support for the Department’s applications that track and report on the progress of adult learners taking advantage of career enhancement education being offered by the agency. In addition RTGX has provided on going life cycle support for a complex application designed to track and adjudicate claims related to free or subsidized nutrition programs administered by the agency throughout the State of Maryland. Other software development projects have included the development of electronic forms and workflow application components in support of claims processing functions for the State of Maryland.

Continuous challenges being met by RTX include tracking ever changing Federal Regulations that impact the software application, budget constraints, and support for an application that has been developed by multiple consultants over a period of eight – ten years.
